Back Story
This quilt is all about the fabric. When I saw these two fabrics thrown together by accident on my work table, I knew right away that I needed to make a quilt that used great expanses of both fabrics. There is generally a lot of “behind-the-scenes” work that goes into designing a quilt and then selecting the right fabrics to support the design -- all before a cut is made or a seam sewn. This quilt is the exception to the rule.
